This sweet story is about an orange cat, named Bubby who found the house where he had once found kindness. This cutie is three-legged and has spent most of his years on the streets.

The story goes eight years back when our cutie has met a gentleman. One day, this three-legged cutie entered the man’s kitchen and refused to leave. Since then, the cat started showing up in the house frequently.

After that, the man fell in love with Bubby. But the cat was not willing to become an inside cat. Thus, the man and his family would leave Bubby out after each visit.

After a few visits, the man started doing some sweet things for the cat. Like the man has brought a set of dishes and a chair for Bubby. But sadly, the man passed away after a few years.

Once what happened was that the cat stopped showing up. Even after the man and his family kept food every day outside their house, Bubby didn’t come.

But hopefully, in 2019, the 3-legged cat came back.

Ray Pinsent, the neighbor immediately recognize the cat and informed the family. When the family found their lost cat, he has become weak.

The cute orange cat was in need of immediate medical attention. When winters arrived, Ray became worried as he got a feeling the cat won’t survive much longer.

Thus, he went to the house of Bubby’s new owner. He requested them to open the door the next time they saw the cat.

The next day, Ray got a call from the new owner telling him that Bubby is back. When Ray heard this thing, he immediately came to their house. He then took the cat to the Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables.

The volunteer of Exploits Valley SPCA Adoptables, Sarah MacLeod said something when she saw the cat. She shared “Bubby was dehydrated, beat up and all. He was sent to the vet and would not have survived another storm. The vet said he starting purring while on the exam table”.

“I knew I wanted to keep Bubby forever before I took him home,” Sarah told us. “We weren’t in the market for a cat so my boyfriend needed convincing.”

“I came home from work to find Bubby and my boyfriend both on the floor. Bubby had crawled onto him. Neither one of us had seen him do this before, but I knew he won him over.”

“Bubby with his sad human eyes was loved once before and he is now again. He purrs the minute he wakes up in the morning and as he goes to sleep every night. He’s never asked to go outside once. He must know that he’s home now, for good.”

“I feel lucky to have him, he’ll be extremely spoiled for the rest of his days.”
