Boruto Chapter 1: A Quick Recap
The first chapter of Boruto begins with Sarada arguing in defense of Boruto with Shikamaru, now the new Hokage. Sarada became upset as Shikamaru stood by her choice to keep Boruto’s penalty which Konoha village had imposed.
Later panels featured Eida appealing to Sumire and Sarada to quit backing Boruto. Later panels had Eida pleading with Sumire and Sarada to abandon their support for Boruto. Eida suspects that none of them were affected by her Omnipotence ninjutsu, as only Sumire and Sarada are actively protecting Boruto. Sumire and Sarada, on the other hand, devised an explanation to avoid more suspicion.
Boruto Chapter 81 also showed Himawari training hard with Cho Cho to become a better Shinobi. Even after all these years, Himawari still feels that her parents are alive and finds it hard to believe Boruto is the murderer of her parents. A similar feeling also occurs in Mitsuki, who is confused about his feelings towards Kawaki being his “Sun.”
Code’s assault on the Konoha village marked the end of the chapter. Kawaki’s unit arrived at the scene just in time to engage Sarada’s unit in combat with Code. Stepping on Code’s face, Boruto appears as a hero out of nowhere to save the village.
Boruto Chapter 2: What To Expect In The Upcoming Chapter?
No spoilers for Boruto Chapter 2 were released at the time this article was written. Usually, the spoilers surface on Reddit/Twitter 3-4 days before the original release date. So fans may expect leaked spoilers between September 17-19, 2023.
As was already known, Chapter 1 of Boruto ended with Code invading the Konoha village and Boruto stepping on him to save the day.

The next episode is expected to include a three-way fight between Boruto, Kawaki, and Code that fans can expect to be fierce. Fans had hoped that Sasuke would be presented in the first chapter, but to their disappointment, Sasuke never appeared in Boruto Chapter 1. Fans should thus anticipate seeing Sasuke in Boruto Chapter 2, assisting Boruto battle Code and Kawaki, or at the very least, a few flashbacks from the training time.
