Boruto Chapter 81: A Quick Recap
Boruto Chapter 81 introduced Shikamaru Nara as the new Hokage in place of Naruto. Sarada tries to convince Shikamaru to give Boruto a second chance to explain his side of the story. Shikamaru remains cold and warns Sarada to focus on her progress.
In the next panel, Eida asks Sarada and Sumire to give up on changing the people’s minds as she still did not learn to control her Omnipotence Ninjutsu. Eida also begins to doubt Sarada and Sumire as to why they are unaffected by her Omnipotence, but each comes up with an explanation to avoid more suspicion.
Himawari is seen training hard with Cho Cho. Deep down, she still believes her parents are alive because she can sense them, and she also feels Boruto wasn’t the one who murdered her parents. The same was true for Mitsuki, who had concerns about Kawaki, his new “Sun.”
The chapter concluded with Code invading the Konoha village and Boruto treading on Code’s face as he plummeted from the sky.
