Apple iOS 13 update for iPhone and iPad is all set to be unveiled this summer at the Worldwide Developers Conference. However, not everything might be wonderful about the next iOS.
According to the latest report, Apple might ditch some older iPhone and iPad devices for the iOS 13 update.
Will Apple support older iPhone and iPad devices for iOS 13?
According to an Israeli Site, TheVerifier Apple iOS 1updateste is not going to support iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus.
Apple iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad Air and iPad Air 2 might also be dropped from the supported device list.
However, according to other websites, The Verifier data do not hold much credit as they don’t have a credible source.
Also, it should be noted that iOS 12 came with technology to help boost the speed of older iPhones. Apple has a great track record for supporting older iPhones and iPads through software updates and it is highly unlikely that this is going to change with the iOS 13 update.
What to expect from iOS 13?
Apple is going to bring some major changes to iOS 13 update with this year’s preview.
The Apple iOS 13 update for iPhone and iPad is expected to include one of the most highly touted and requested feature and that is dark mode. It would certainly help all the night owls out there. We can also see some major UI changes to the home screen and Apple’s Carplay.
Apple might also be working on better multitasking and screen usage on its iPad lineup.
This year’s update might bring a better cross platforming support for the application. Since Unicode Consortium has already cleared the list and characters for new emojis we can be seeing the addition of newer emojis in the upcoming update
Release Date
There is no clear indication but what we have seen in the past Apple is going to unveil their newest version of iOS in WWDC.
After WWDC developers preview and beta phases, the stable builds of the update will hit the iPhone and iPads soon after.
