Apex Legends Update: New Legends Coming?
Back when the game launched, it had eight playable characters. Each of these characters has a speciality – each character has different synergies with the other characters, and the strategy to play with them is different! Respawn might soon be looking towards doubling up the total characters in Apex Legends.
Respawn has confirmed that more characters will be added to the game – but they will come along in June! These legends will be introduced along with a new Battle Pass season that will begin sometime in the summer.
Names of New Apex Legends Characters Spotted in Source Code
Some gamers got excited about this news from Respawn and started digging up the source code of the game in search of hints about these new characters. After long, they found out the names of these characters. At this point in time, we only have the names – and not what their abilities, specialities and synergies are.
Here are the eight new Apex Legends characters which will be added to the game soon:
- Crypto
- Husaria
- Jericho
- Nomad
- Prophet
- Rampart
- Rosie
- Skunner
These names sound like they can fit well with the existing characters in Apex Legends. Interestingly, this is not the first time we’ve seen ‘Prophet’ in the source of the game.
