Alita: Battle Angel sequel will show fans the City of Zalem and more about the futuristic cyberpunk world. The first movie ended with Alita winning the Motorball tournament and winning enough money to travel to the City of Zalem. Alita wanted to honor the death of her love Hugo (Keean Johnson) and take revenge against Nova (Edward Norton) for all the evil things he has done.

Alita has won enough money that she can take anyone to Zalem with her and it will be most probably her father figure, Dr. Dyson Ido. The character will be the best as a travel companion to Zalem in Alita: Battle Angel 2 as he knows the place before getting exiled from Zalem. The duo will together explore Zalem in Alita 2 and find Nova and take revenge against him for all the people he has killed.

Alita: Battle Angel 2 fan demands are in full force and the petition on change.org has only around 5000 signatures left to reach the 150,000 mark. Fans demanding the Alita sequel also flew a banner for #AlitaSequel at the Oscars 2020 awards show. Disney has started to take note and as per some reports, Alita: Battle Angel 2 release date could happen around 2023 at the earliest.
