Akita Inu’s are much bigger and heavier than Shiba Inu. That’s why Akita weighs up to 130 pounds while Shiba weighs up to 23 pounds. Also, Akita Inu’s are prone to drooling.

#3 Belgian Malinois & German Shepherd Dog

Another dog breed that usually confuses people is the Belgian Malinois and German shepherd. Since they both have a similar-looking coat and are seen in military work, people think they are the same. But Malinois are a little slimmer, smaller, shorter, and lighter.
