We feel like the odds are against us when life gets overwhelming. In times of great despair, we must remind ourselves that it is not too late to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and try again. Maybe the next time will be our lucky one.

We are all about beating the odds and doing the impossible, so we decided to share the inspiring stories of 16 Redditors who went through a lot to get where they are now.
