When you live with a pet animal, you run the risk of… Well, everything. It’s very unpredictable, and almost anything can potentially happen. And not all of them good things. For example, there are certain puppies and dogs that are prone to being aggressive and destructive, but it’s not intentional. They’re not violent. They just like to play, and they like playing a little rough. That being said, sometimes you’re able to capture it for the world to see.

After all, we spend most of our time now on the internet, using one social media or another. So, having our phones at hand isn’t such an unusual premise anymore. Look at these, some of them are even from entire Instagrams dedicated to animal antics. It’s wholesome!

People with pets have lower blood pressure in stressful situations than those without pets. One study even found that when people with borderline hypertension adopted dogs from a shelter, their blood pressure declined significantly within five months.

Playing with a dog or cat can elevate levels of serotonin and dopamine, which calm and relax.

Megan Mueller is the director of Tufts Institute for Human-Animal Interaction, and she states; “A lot of us who have pets think, ‘Oh, they must be sort of uniformly good for us’. We’re finding is it is a little bit more complicated than we originally thought. “I always say that it’s not a great question: ‘Are our pets good for us?’ It’s who are pets good for, under what circumstances, and is it the right match between the person and the pet?”
