What makes people happy? A good book, a night out with friends, and Netflix and chill? All of that sounds good, but nothing is better than being outside, right?
Even more so when the weather is snowy and beautiful.
In fact, there’s nothing better than playing in the snow for an Ohio man.
Blake Dixon has always loved snow days a little bit too much. In fact, when he was in middle school, he wanted to build something like a snow castle.
After a few years, his childhood dream came true, and he was so happy.
We are, of course, talking about igloos.
Dixon’s biggest igloo to date was built after he worked on it for years.
The man started to work on his big project, but at first, things didn’t look too good.
When we first started working on it, all we had was a pile of snow, and then we were working on the inside to pull it all out,
Blake’s friend who helped him build the igloo said.
The top collapsed, and with some ingenuity from Blake, as well as a little bit of persistence, we were able to reconstruct the dome.
Even though there were problems, the team was able to build an igloo with more than one room.
There is a full sitting area, a hallway, and a second room in the “snow castle.”
Dixon is happy with his job.
He and his friends worked hard to make it happen, and he loves that people are happy when they see his igloo.
Not done yet
At least seven adults and two children can sleep in the igloo. But when everyone found out about it, it wasn’t over yet.
The man said that it wasn’t done yet because there were still things that needed to be added.
He planned to add a fireplace and chimney, and the team was already working on it.
The big reveal
Blake shared the finished igloo on his Instagram account and he got a lot of likes.
In the video, he shows that the igloo now has a fireplace and a TV and is a pretty good place to spend a lazy evening.
If someone is tired, they can even take a nap in the extra room, which has lots of blankets to keep them warm.
In his post, Dixon thanked everyone who helped him with this project, and he told everyone to follow their dreams.
Brainstorm an idea and make it happen,
he wrote.

Blake Dixon got his master’s degree in climate change and global sustainability, and he says that he is “ready to save the world.”
We don’t know if he’ll be able to do that, but so far, his building has made a lot of people happy, which is something he should be proud of.
He made it the best place to hang out.
