Ozzy Osbourne, a famous rocker, just said on Instagram that he is giving up touring because of his health problems.
Ozzy Osbourne was getting ready for a tour of Europe, which has been put off more than once since it was first announced in 2019. The British heavy metal band Judas Priest, known for songs like “Painkiller” and “Breaking the Law,” was also going to be on the tour.
His most recent album, “Patient Number 9,” came out in September 2022. It got good reviews, and NME gave it a perfect score and called it “a fizzing piece of hard-rock magic.”
Even the late guitarist Jeff Beck was featured on the album. He played on the title track, “Patient Number 9,” which is about mental health problems.
The singer of “Crazy Train” and former lead singer of Black Sabbath has had his fair share of health problems over the past few years. When Ozzy Osbourne was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 30 years ago, he said he wouldn’t be touring anymore.
This time, though, the Prince of Darkness decided to stop touring because his health was getting worse. Ozzy Osbourne took to Instagram to tell his 5.2 million followers that he was retiring.
This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine. My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak,
the statement began.
It continued:
I am honestly humbled by the way you’ve all patiently held onto your tickets for all this time, but in all good conscience, I have now come to the realization that I’m not physically capable of doing my upcoming European/UK tour dates, as I know I couldn’t deal with the travel required. Believe me when I say that the thought of disappointing my fans really F**KS ME UP, more than you will ever know.
Never would I have imagined that my touring days would have ended this way. My team is currently coming up with ideas for where I will be able to perform without having to travel from city to city and country to country. I want to thank my family……my band…….my crew……my longtime friends, Judas Priest, and of course, my fans for their endless dedication, loyalty, and support, and for giving me the life that I never ever dreamed I would have. I love you all…

The rocker’s 2019 fall seems to have had lasting effects, as a source reported that it made his injuries from a 2003 quad bike accident even worse.
The singer of “Mr. Crowley,” who also has Parkinson’s, underwent more spinal surgery in 2022.
Soon after he stated:
Thank God I found the right surgeon who knows how to deal with spinal problems. He had to cut nerves and you have to take f***ing nerve-pain pills, but I am getting better.
