Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account, so police were called to her house.
When fans saw that she had deleted her social media page this week, they worried about her health.
On Tuesday night, people who were worried about the 41-year-old called the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and asked them to check on her (January 24).
A representative for the sheriff’s office said that there was no reason to worry about the singer’s safety.
I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch, and essentially, I can confirm that we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger,
they said.
The police didn’t say how many calls or reports they had gotten about the situation.
They also didn’t say if they actually talked to Britney Spears or went to her house.
The police said that they couldn’t say anything else because of privacy and “public trust.”
The Ventura County spokesperson said:
It’s just a privacy thing for the residents in our county.
It’s a public trust issue. We just don’t disclose those kinds of things [such as wellness checks]. It’s not a crime.
We don’t really talk about any kind of mental health issues or anything like that.
I can’t confirm or deny that deputies went to her house, but we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger at this point.
Britney Spears has been seen at a restaurant in Los Angeles with her husband, where some people said she was acting strange.
Fans saw the singer and her husband Sam Asghari at JOEY restaurant in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, on Friday, January 13. They were trying to have a nice night out.
Some fans couldn’t help but pull out their phones and start filming Britney Spears on the date. One clip shows the moment she used a menu to hide her face from the people watching.
Sources said that the singer became “manic” and started talking “gibberish,” or speech that was hard to understand.
As the situation went on, it is said that Asghari got visibly upset and left the restaurant. Soon after he left, Spears went after him with her bodyguard, who then went back to pay the bill.
Britney went on social media later and posted a bunch of random and explicit things.
