Many people who like to travel or go on fun adventures will put a theme park on their list of places to visit. But they should know that going there will be crazy expensive before they do this.
TikToker Miranda Pearce (@mirandapearcemindset) has a lot of videos about doing research, planning ahead, and not getting upset about things, it’s clear that she didn’t know how much it would cost to take a family of four to Universal Studios in Florida.
After the day was over, Pearce posted a video that showed how much the family spent on tickets, fast passes, food, and special things. She thought that everyone would be as shocked as she was.
At the beginning of the video, Pearce said:
Guess how much we spent on one day at Universal Studios Florida. Wait until the end, you ain’t gonna believe it.

The Pearce family started the day by spending $21 at Wendy’s outside the park and $27 on parking, which Pearce said was the cheapest option.
Then came a $19 refillable cup, which Pearce’s son immediately spilled, and a $62 park lunch.
The family also spent $42.60 on a Harry Potter notebook and pen, $20 on ice cream, $4 on coffee, and $34 on dinner at the park.
The tickets and fast passes to the attractions cost the family another $880.
Some people didn’t get why Pearce was so shocked by how much it cost for a family of four.
Others told the family how they could enjoy the trip next time for less money.
Pearce thought that everyone who watched her TikTok video about how much her family spent for a day at Universal Studios in Florida would be shocked, but the only person who was shocked was Pearce herself.
There were many ways for Pearce to save money the next time, like buying the tickets while still in the UK or buying them in bulk. The TikTok community also pointed out that there are much more expensive theme parks.
