A woman who has been told she looks like a child spoke out about the “creeps” who have shown interest in dating her. Reality TV star Shauna Rae, who is only 3 feet 10 inches tall, has talked about what it’s like to be an adult in a girl’s body.
In the year 2022, the first episode of her show “I am Shauna Rae” aired. This made her more well-known.
The series tells about what happened when she was a child and sick. No one expected the side effect, which was that she stopped growing, but it did.
The second season of her show on TLC has just started, and she has talked about some of her most recent experiences, like her search for love and her thoughts about going to college.

Shauna Rae, who is now 23 years old, had brain cancer when she was born, and she went through chemo when she was younger.
Because of this, the effects on her pituitary gland caused her to be short. This is called pituitary dwarfism.
Shauna Rae is only about 3 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighs close to 50 pounds, but her cancer has been gone for a long time.
Even though she is an adult, she looks like she is only eight years old because of everything she has been through.
People don’t understand that I’m an adult,
she explained in the series opener of her show.
After that, Shauna Rae said the following:
If you look at me, you see an eight-year-old.
But I think if you take the time to look at the details in my face, in my hands, the maturity in my body – and I think if you take the time to actually talk to me – you really understand that I’m a 23-year-old.
The reality star then talked about how she dates and how she can tell when “creeps” are interested in her for the wrong reasons. She went on to say how she has been able to stay away from these kinds of people.
She continued:
I’ve just developed the ability to spot someone who may not have the best intentions because they give themselves away.
Their questions are very targeted towards my physicality… They’re learning about me like I’m a specimen in a lab.
In an episode of the new season of her reality show, she goes on a blind date with a volunteer firefighter named Thomas. Thomas has pituitary dwarfism as well.
The two people can be seen talking about their past dates while the younger of the two, who is 20 years old and stands 4 feet, 8 inches tall, looks on.
Rae has even said that other people, especially kids, have tried to pick her up.
In an interview, she gave more details about her date and talked about how he had “inspired” her.
Rae said:
Meeting the young man with pituitary dwarfism was an amazing experience. We had a lot in common because of our medical histories. And then our actual social lives are much different.
I think that is very inspiring for each of us and anyone else when they watch it because we came kind of from a similar background, but not at the same time.
I think it’s very beneficial because he is such an inspiring man.
He inspires me to do good. He inspires people in his life to do good.
Rae is learning to drive, but she doesn’t have to use the pedals because her car has special controls she can use with her hands.
She wants to move out of her parents’ house soon, so she is also trying to set up her own stable finances so she can do this on her own.
The fact that they discussed it while they were out on their date indicated that she and Thomas both liked it.
