If These 11 Movies Were Re-Filmed Today, This Is How They Would Look Like

When we’re stressed out or having problems, rewatching our favorite movies can help us forget about them. Especially for people with anxiety, it can be soothing to know who the bad guy is or that the big romantic kiss is coming up. But it can get boring to watch the same movie over and over again. A good plot twist would be if the characters in the movies got older as time went on.

Outline
  • Top Gun (1986) — Kelly McGillis and Tom Cruise
  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) — Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet
  • Seven (1995) — Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman
  • The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) — Sean Astin and Elijah Wood
  • The Godfather (1972) — Al Pacino
  • Léon (1994) — Jean Reno and Natalie Portman
  • P.S. I Love You (2007) — Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler
  • Maid in Manhattan (2002) — Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes
  • Something’s Gotta Give (2003) — Keanu Reeves and Diane Keaton
  • The Silence of the Lambs (1991) — Scott Glenn and Jodie Foster
  • The Legend of Zorro (2005) — Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas

So, at Hiptoro, we got together with our Photoshop experts and looked at how old movies would look if they were remade today with the same actors but when they were older. Be careful; you’re about to feel a lot of nostalgia.
