Recap of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 9, “Treehouse of the Dead”
In episode 9, titled “Treehouse of the Dead,” Akira and his friends discover a road tunnel occupied by zombies while attempting to reach Gunma. They opt for a path through the dense forest to avoid danger. In the wilderness, they meet Masaru Kumano, who is pursued by a zombified boar. Learning that Masaru is constructing a treehouse in the forest, Akira and his friends lend a hand to complete the task. Afterwards, they bid farewell to Masaru and continued their journey to Gunma.
Upon reuniting with his parents and villagers, Akira is relieved as he is driven by the fear that he might have been too late to save his parents. He is determined to spend quality time with them and help in the fields. The episode also shifts its focus to Kanta Higurashi and his group, who have created a bucket list primarily consisting of illegal activities that could cause chaos in the already zombie-infested world.
