Jujutsu Kaisen follows a high school boy named Itadori Yuji. Gege Akutami is the manga’s author and illustrator. Yuji is born with extraordinary physical abilities and lives with his grandfather. The young boy recovers a cursed finger, which unleashes demons on his friends.
While saving them with a jujutsu sorcerer called Megumi, Yuji ends up swallowing the finger that makes him the vessel of the strongest cursed spirit called Sukuna. Yuji then ends up being a student at Jujutsu Kaisen High School. Under the guidance of Gojo, Satoru Yuji is meant to eat all of Sukuna’s fingers and get killed at the end.

The manga was adapted into an anime by MAPPA. The first season was aired on September 19, 2020, and the anime gained so much traction in the first episode. MAPPA nailed the animation, and Jjujtsu Kaisen became known for having a very different storyline and better female leads. (and, of course, the fan favorite Gojo Satoriu and his blue eyes).
Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 release date
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 was released on September 19, 2022. The anime became an instant hit with the fans. Season 1 had 24 episodes and gave us all the gist of the Jujutsu Kaisen world. Season one started with the episode “Ryomen Sukuna,” where Sukuna, the king of curses, was introduced. The last chapter, Accomplice, aired on August 18, 2021. The last episode shows the viewers how Nobara and Yuji kill powerful curses and are brothers, and Megumi learns how to master a dimension expansion of his own.

The first season of the episode aired on July 6, 2023. The second season focuses on Gojo’s past and how he came to be the way he is. Gojo was born into the clan with Limitless and six eyes powers. He was the 1st, after 400 years to inherit both these powers.
The season has currently released five episodes thus far. The season and the first season dwell on the first few arcs of the manga. The movie Jujutsu Kaisen Zero covers Yuta’s arc. The movie shows us how Yuta joined Jujutsu High School and the death of Geto.
The biggest question to be answered is: Will Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 be there? The answer is yes! Official announcements have not been made regarding the issue, but it is obvious at this point. The major arcs of the manga are yet to be covered by the anime. So Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is a sure-shot possibility.
