“If I take part in NBA today I would quite easily average 35 to 40 per game,” says Tracy McGrady.
“Without even shooting too many three pointers I had made it to 32 a game,” McGrady, a 2 time League scoring champion pointed out.
So far this season the NBA scoring is way up the bar.

As he stated the math does not seem to precisely check out for T-Mac. During the 2003 – 04 season highest 7.7 three pointers per game was registered by McGrady it was his career best too. And in that season he averaged 28 points per game, which resulted in the league. If at all Steph Curry’s current clip of 11.8 threes per game was leveled by McGrady, an additional 4 points per game would only be made. Compared to Curry’s career mark of 43.7% T-Mac is a 33.8 percent career shooter from three. Still, the present defensive rules would benefit McGrady.
