The AMC zombie horror drama saw the end of the 9th season with a number of beloved characters’ death and departures, and since then, we have been waiting eagerly to see them return. Looks like the show gods heard our prayers. A recent photo leak could be teasing the return of a major character.
Is Maggie coming back?
The Twitter account of The Walking Dead released a photo of the cast at Hollywood Con in Tokyo. The picture featured Lauren Cohen, who plays Maggie Rhee, Khary Payton who plays Ezekiel, Cooper Andrews who plays Jerry, and Ryan Hurst, who plays Beta. The photo was captioned: “Squad Up”.

As soon the snapshot was posted, fans’ excitement hit a frenzy, with tweets begging for Maggie’s return. Rumors, spoilers, and speculations have been churning since then, with fans theorizing how and when Maggie will return in The Walking Dead season 10.
One of the fans tweeted,
“Lauren Cohen is coming back?! Yesssss!! One of the legends return. Always been one of my favourites! Her acting is so believable and flawless.”
Another said that Maggie might now be at the new village, hiding with a group of new survivors.

One of the most popular spoilers is that Maggie is the one who has been behind the mysterious voice on the radio all this time. Season 9 ended with Ezekiel and Judith speaking on the radio, trying to communicate with other communities.
Showrunner Angela Kang said,
“We welcome that speculation. It’s a story that we will tell in season 10, and the world of The Walking Dead, it keeps opening up, so who’s out there? What do they want? How will they interact?
“Whatever it is, it is something that will turn the story in hopefully a satisfying and interesting way.”
Fans will have to wait for The Walking Dead season 10 release to see if this was indeed a spoiler just a normal tease by the AMC team.
