The Punisher Season 2 reviews are here and the critics are not as pleased as before. The first season of the show got a score of 67%. Season 2 has got a score of 50% which is a considerable drop-off in comparison to the first one.
The sophomore season of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has received harsh reviews from the critics. Even though the show was enjoyed by a lot of fans, Rotten Tomatoes reviews are speaking a different story. The first season a 93% score from the audience. It was received well by the critics as well as the fans.
Audience and Critic’s Review
The second season of The Punisher has got 20 reviews with a score of 50%. Even the first season of Iron Fist has also received a “Rotten” score with a score of 19%. The Punisher is at least at a better rating when it comes to a Netflix series by Marvel.
The Punisher Season 2 has got around 86% of audience score. Many fans have also expressed their views about the show. As per the fans, the show is not that good. It is too soon to judge as only a few reviews have been submitted yet.

The future of the second season of The Punisher is yet to be decided. After the cancellation of other Marvel series including Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Daredevil, the series is getting mixed reviews.
Steven Lightfoot, the executive producer and show runner, hasn’t said anything about the next season of the show yet. There is no news about the cancellation of the show yet. So speculations are still going on regarding the next season.
