The Prodigy, Foo Fighters and System of a Down will play in the 2019 Sonic Temple Festival

The all-star lineup by System of a Down, Foo Fighters along with Distributed is all set to be played in the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival. The 3-day inaugural event might take place from 17th May 2019 to 19th May 2019 at Ohio’s Mapfre Stadium in the heart of Columbus.

It was previously reported that the Sonic Temple + Music Festival is going to replace the Rock genre on Range festival which continued for a very long time. The promoter of the Sonic Temple + Music Festival, Danny Wimmer Presents has announced about the initial news in September. During that time Wimmer revealed everyone that “they have to come up with new moves for improving the experience and to make the Sonic Temple + Music Festival the most celebrated rock festival in all of America.


The recently announced refresh festival lineup is expected to be the greatest Rock festival in all of America and Danny Wimmer’s argument says it all. In addition to the above-mentioned rock bands like System of a Down, Foo Fighters and Distributed, there will be other performers such as Ghost, Refused, Meshuggah. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Gojira, Bring  Me the Horizon, Black Label Society, Pussy Riot, The Prodigy, The Hives, The Distillers, Lamb of God, Mark Lanegan Band, The Cult, Action Bronson and The Struts.

It is only fitting that the rock band ‘The Cult’ is also on the list of the performers because their studio album that released in the year 1989 was titled as Sonic Temple, which is apparently an inspiration for the name of the festival.
