Falcon and the Winter Solider could be considered as a direct sequel to Avengers: Endgame or even Civil War as it will continue the story forward after the events of the two movies. There are also reports that TFATWS could set up the ‘Thunderbolts’ which are a team of MCU villains and rumors says that Marvel is planning a movie or TV series on the characters.
