All through December of 2018, Soulja Boy, an American rapper began selling quite a few distinctive video gaming consoles which have amounted a little over the illegal emulators which are comprised of the copyrighted video games from gaming industry brands such as Capcom, Nintendo and many more.
The rapper sells these devices for over $300 which is down from the basic price of 639.98. The price is quite a lot from Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the time of their launch. Given the hefty price tag of these gaming console, the only thing the people are wondering is how many of the gaming consoles have been sold so far.
The exact figures of the gaming consoles are not yet available, but Soulja Boy has reportedly claimed that ever since he trashed the tweet, the rapper managed to sell more than 5 million gaming consoles since the inception of the venture at the beginning of this month. The numbers are sought to be quite unlikely, more importantly as the same type of devices is available from different sellers for a significantly less price when compared with the console of Soulja Boy.
It is debatable as to whether the words from Soulja Boy are true or false. As Soulja Boy has made around 5 million units sale while he was busy in defending the legitimacy of his gaming consoles to the Twitter users. Apparently, it looks like Soulja Boy was completely defending regarding the prospect where Nintendo might sue him as he is selling these gaming consoles.
And if the sales numbers of Soulja Boy is accurate and if he saved from getting into any legal troubles then he will be selling more of these gaming consoles. Soulja Boy has been adamant about the fact that he is more involved in the gaming industry beyond playing the game. Soulja Boy has also revealed to start an eSports franchise as early as 2019.
