Fulham chairman, Shahid Khan said that they made this change because they saw the “right answer” and a better “succession plan.” He continued saying that appointing Ranieri was not only “comforting” but also “essential” for the team. He said that Ranieri is risk-free and probably the best manager for Premier League, and that’s what Fulham needs right now.

Claudio Ranieri acknowledged Mr. Khan for this great opportunity and said that he is privileged to be associated with Fulham, which is a club of a fantastic “tradition and culture.”

He said that Fulham is full of exceptional players and it doesn’t justify its position in the current points table.

The first match for the new manager of Fulham is set against Southampton on 24 November.
