Sister Wives star Kody Brown’s home is full of divorces and separations, and now another one of his four wives, Meri Brown, is confirming that she and Kody have split up. Fans got the first look at the Sister Wives special that was shown on Sunday.

Kody Expresses His Thoughts.
In the episode, the couple talks to Sukanya Krishnan. During the conversation, Meri Brown watches a clip of Kody saying in a confessional that he doesn’t think of himself as married to Meri Brown.
If she wanted to move on and marry another, she wouldn’t get into an argument with me.
Sukanya then asked Meri Brown what she thought when she heard Kody say those words and how it made her feel, to which she replied.
It just doesn’t make sense to me that he would be so frustrated with Christine and be like, she just made this decision. We didn’t consult, we didn’t talk, she just made the decision, and then he says, no, I don’t consider myself married to Meri.
She continued,
Like, he just made the decision. I’ve never heard him say that to me.
The last days of their marriage were quite painful.
Kody and Meri’s marriage hasn’t been easy for years. Months before this new information came out, word got out that the two had kept their relationship platonic. Meri Brown says that the end of their relationship was painful, and she compares their first anniversary to the last one they spent together.
Even since being in Flagstaff, he has led me to believe that he was trying,
she explains to the host.
You know, our first anniversary that we had here in Flagstaff, it was cheers to a new beginning as opposed to this last anniversary he’s like, I don’t even know why you called me Meri. He’s like, We’re not married, we’re not acting as married.
Meri Brown went on to say that she thought they should talk about it in public because that was how Kody really felt. Kody refused, saying that he didn’t want to be judged.
The Big Confirmation.
Sukanya finally asks Meri Brown what this means for their 32-year marriage. Meri tells her,
Well, he’s already made the decision. You just saw him say that.
But the 51-year-old woman was still hopeful about their failing marriage because she was open to making things work and would even think about getting back together with Kody if he wanted to.
I would. I definitely would. But I don’t think that he’s interested.
The couple has been married for more than 30 years and has one child, Leon Brown, who came out as transgender in June 2022.
Kody Brown only has one wife now.
Christine and Kody will split up in November 2021 after being together for 25 years. In the first look at the aired tell-all special, his third wife, Janelle Brown, also said that they were splitting up.
The Brown dynasty is over because he only has one wife left, Robyn Brown, whom he married in 2014.
