Imagine patiently waiting day after day to be adopted, but everyone who comes along rejects you and instead picks someone else — and you just don’t understand why.
It feels bad when everyone around us gets selected for something good but we are left alone. This same thing has happened with a Pitbull who was patiently waiting to get adopted. Sadly, dogs around him would get adopted, and for some reasons, this cutie got rejected.
That’s when he thought enough is enough and took the matters to his hands (actually paws). Rush, the pit bull started making his own bed to show that he is a good boy. Awww! (we are convinced that Rush is a total cutie)
“[Rush] makes his bed every day at an animal shelter while he waits for a family to adopt him,” SICSA wrote on Facebook. “He’s been waiting for over 30 days.”
“There are a lot of negative stereotypes about the American pit bull. If we were able to highlight the cute cuddly points of Rush, then we can help people look beyond the pit bull label,” Nora Vondrell, executive director of SICSA, Ohio, told ABC News.
With all the attention, it wasn’t long before the perfect adopters came to see Rush.
Rush’s story has touched many hearts, and everyone is so happy and proud of him.
