Scientist Claims Afterlife to Be Scientifically Impossible

What will be waiting for us on the other side has been a question that has both scared and interested people for centuries.

People have written books about it, made movies about all the different possibilities, and even started religions to try to find answers.

But the question of whether there is life after death still stands.

Well, one scientist says that the answer is a clear “No.”

afterlife

Sean Carroll, a cosmologist and professor of physics at the California Institute of Technology, says that it is “impossible” for there to be life after death.

Carroll said:

The laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood.

This theory is based on the idea that our minds are separate from our bodies. If this is true, then there must be an afterlife.

Scientists, on the other hand, think that consciousness comes from atoms and electrons and not from a soul that can live outside the body.

Dr. Carroll continued:

Claims that some form of consciousness persists after our bodies die and decay into their constituent atoms face one huge, insuperable obstacle.

The laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood. And there’s no way within those laws to allow for the information stored in our brains to persist after we die.

He also says that the Quantum Field Theory (QFT) shows that there is no place for dead people’s souls to go after they die.

This theory basically says that each type of particle in the universe has its own field. Photons have their own field, electrons have their own, and every other type of particle also has its own.

Quantum tests haven’t found any “spirit” particles, which would mean that there is no afterlife.

Even though this is bad news for many believers, there are still people who say they’ve seen life after death. These are people who have had near-death experiences.

afterlife

One “true atheist,” said he had one that made him rethink everything he knew about life and death.

Jose Hernandez stopped breathing during a medical emergency. He said he saw ghosts and then saw his dead father again in Heaven.

Hernandez said:

When I met my dad on the other side, I realised that sometimes we may not be able to say something here, [but] we’re gonna be able to say it somewhere else.

Another man said he died for 20 minutes and was taken to a field of magnetic flowers while he was dead.

Scott Drummond said:

And I just remember looking and seeing how beautiful the flowers were, because something that I really enjoy is yard work and gardening and I just remembered the vivid colours were magnificent.

The next thing I knew the person that had escorted me there was not there any more and I was by myself, but it was so peaceful.
