Now, what does this indicate? Will we won’t get to see Jughead again? Did the trio kill their best friend? We know that they can’t leave without one another and killing Jughead is highly unlikely. The next season will see the last days of the gang in high school. The youngsters may shift to college and an all-new setting for the show.
With new college, comes new friends and enemies as we got to know from the flash-forward in the third season. The fans are totally ready to see their favorite characters in college. One Reddit user also came up with a plot for the next season. He said that maybe the show will cut to the break after college when everyone decides to catch up and meet in Riverdale.
Others viewers believe that maybe the youngsters won’t get to go to college at all. Veronica earlier wanted to go to New York, but now she is the owner of the SpeakEasy and Pop’s. Archie is loyal to the gym he owns, while Betty’s mother took all her money. Jughead is the Serpent King and he would leave the Serpents in chaos. The viewer added,
If they do, I think it’ll jump to after college where everyone goes back to Riverdale. But the comic was about high school… so I don’t know.
