Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6 release date might get delayed over the Coronavirus outbreak as per some new reports. The Covid-19 infection has turned into a global pandemic and it has halted production of every movie and TV series. Adult Swim is also forced to shut down work on Rick and Morty, which might further delay the release of the next episode.

Fans have been waiting for more than four months since the last Rick and Morty episode aired and Season 4 went into a hiatus. It was estimated that Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6 will release alongside Disney’s Mulan remake. But the movie has been delayed by Coronavirus pandemic and the same thing can happen with Rick and Morty animated series.

Rick and Morty have an old connection with the movie Mulan as they made a reference in the last season for the McDonald’s limited Szechuan sauce which was released with 1992 animated Mulan movie. It has led to speculations that Adult Swim might do something similar and have another gag in Rick and Morty Season 4 about the new live-action Mulan.

But the Covid-19 infection has forced Disney to delay the release of Mulan and even Black Widow. The same thing can happen with Rick and Morty as the Coronavirus crisis can delay the release of Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6 from the regular schedule.

Rick and Morty Season 4 Episode 6 has not released till now as the production is not complete. The voice actress for Summer Smith revealed that they are changing certain storylines which is the reason why new episodes of Rick and Morty have been delayed.

Coronavirus outbreak has halted filming for every show and movie in the United States and even Rick and Morty series is affected.
