Boston Red Sox won the match and at their victory parade, fans were gathered to welcome the champions as well as 8 year old Max Mitchell and other kids who are battling cancer.
Fans didn’t cheer only the Red fox champions but also Max Mitchell and his family members who said it is very special for them when they come to Boston other than for treatment and special cheers are for Jimmy fund clinic and their respective families.

At the age of 5, Max was diagnosed with cancer. Mitchell said through Jimmy fund many a times they get opportunity to meet the players, watch games, and sometimes serve as bat boys too. Yet, experience had on Wednesday was unforgettable for the family members. They come to Boston five days consecutively for Chemo IV treatments. She said, coming to Boston for watching Red Sox game gives them a real fun especially to go on the duck boats as victory parade.
At the World Series, Brock Holt used Mitchell’s son Max’s name on his card during the Stand up to Cancer initiative campaign. He didn’t forget to visit the kid after the victory parade. Mitchell with great joy says that the player got to know all the kids names and took a photo with them, which seems to be really special for her as for the kids.

Brock Holt told NESN that the kids mean so much to him and the day was special for him being with the kids as well as the best part of the day was when fans shouted slogans as they saw Jimmy Fund Boat.
The most amazing part was everybody chanted slogans for the Kids families and it happened because of their connection with Red Sox.
