The cover of the new chapter features Naruto in blue clothes and is titled “A Big Fool” or “Big Idiot.” After a month’s delay, the new chapter is almost here.

Fans are speculating as to who the title is referring towards. The blue color of Naruto’s clothing might indicate something sad that is to happen. Fans were expecting the Hokage to make a good comeback in this chapter. However, the leaked raw scans reveal another story.

The chapter begins with everybody shocked that Naruto and Hinata’s chakra has disappeared. Himawari comes home to find that her parents are missing and gets scared, looking at the broken picture frame. On the other hand, we see Shikamaru asking Ada if she knows what happened. She confirms his doubts that it was indeed Kawaki who is behind the deed. Boruto, Sarada, and Sumire are also present at the scene with Ada. Boruto, unable to bear the news, runs out of the room. We get a glimpse of how Ada’s powers work when she tries to look at the past and see the conversations between Naruto and Kawaki.
Ada reveals that from her past glimpses, she predicts that Kawaki will kill again. Shocked by this statement, Sarada runs to find Boruto despite Sumire and Shikamaru trying to stop her. Meanwhile, Boruto reaches where the Hokage statues are and absorbs a vortex before it absorbs him using his karma. Kawaki then appears and tells Boruto that he has trapped Naruto and Hinata in another dimension. He assures Boruto that in that dimension, his parents will not starve or age.
Kawaki then attacks Boruto using cubes he made with his hands. Boruto initially dodges the attacks and defends himself without attacking Kawaki. He asks Kawaki why he is behaving like that, and Kawaki says, “Because you are an Otsutsuki, Boruto. You need another reason?”. They both continue fighting, with Kawaki attacking and Boruto dodging them by defending himself.
Sasuke’s entry
As Kawaki is kicking Boruto, Sarada appears and confronts Kawaki as to why he is resolving to such measures. Kawaki warns her to stay away, or he will also attack her. Boruto tells Sarada to go away as Kawaki is behaving beyond reason now. Sarada says as the future Hokage she must fight. Kawaki tries to attack Sarada, and Boruto jumps in and slashes his right eye. This is how he gets his eye scar. Boruto urges Sarada to run away by bearing the pain. Just then, Mituski and Shikamaru appear and Shikamaru uses his shadow paralysis on Kawaki, stopping him while Mitsuki grabs Kawaki’s left arm.

Out of nowhere, we see Sasuke Uchiha standing, holding his sword on Kawaki’s neck and warning him to leave. Konohamaru lifts Boruto up. Momoshiki takes control of Boruto’s body as Shikamaru confronts Kawaki. Momoshiki frees Kawaki from Shikamaru’s shadow paralysis and tells him to run away. Everybody is confused as to why Momoshiki did that, including Kawaki. Without the time to ask, Kawaki is forced to run away.
Boruto falls, and when Konohamaru lifts him up, we can see he has gained control of his own body. In the final panel, we see Boruto and Momoshiki face to face. Momoshiki warns Boruto that from now on, he will lose everything in the blink of an eye. Thus the chapter ends.
