Ozark Season 3 is all set to hit the screen with a renewed contract. The second installment dropped in August last year, and the show was then recommissioned a month later, as confirmed by lead star Jason Bateman. Since then, fans have been on their toes waiting for the release date of their beloved show and finally, there is some good news.

Marty launched casino boat
Bateman tweeted last year that he is glad Ozark Season 3 is happening. However, there may be some trouble ahead for Marty. The next season is expected to be much darker and full of dangerous twists for the characters.
Season 2 finale ended with Marty launching his casino boat that he is now going to use to funnel millions of dollars into the drug cartel. It is highly probable that Ozark Season 3 shall remain focused on this angle amongst the rest.
Ozark Season 3: Other plots
One of them is certainly the murder of Cade Langmore. Marty, along with Ruth and Wyatt is a major suspect in the crime. We are excited to see how it will turn out. Wendy may also turn out to be the new antagonist. Particularly so, since the last villain was eliminated in season 2.
Netflix has made no announcements regarding when exactly Season 3 will drop on air, but we can expect the show to return before the end of this year.
