The show is set to release on 16th March 2023. It will include 8 episodes of one hour each. Filming of Season 2 was completed in June last year, but the post-production process took a lot of time. Well, the wait is almost over!
Cast of Shadow and Bone Season 2
Some of the main cast members will return for Season 2. These include Jessie Mei Li (Alina Starkov), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Archie Renaux (Malyen Oretsev), Amita Suman (Inej), Ben Barnes (General Kirigan), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), Calahan Skogman (Matthias Helvar), Daisy Head (Genya Safin) and Danielle Galligan (Nina Zenik).
Some new stars will also join the show for Season 2. These include Patrick Gibson (Nikolai Lantsov), (Anna Leong Brophy) Tamar Kir-Bataar, Lewis Tan (Tolya Yul-Bataar), Jack Wolfe (Wylan Hendriks), Janet Kumah (Keme), Rachel Redford (Fruszi) and Joanna McGibbon (Nadya).

There are surely more deaths on the cards for Season 2. Our heroes are ready to fight one more time. With Alina’s growing powers, Kirigan is creating a tunnel of light to enable a passage through the darkness within the fold. The world seems all the more divided as a huge fight breaks out.
Gradually, Alina realizes that none other than her can harness the power. Mal and Alina will be on the run looking for a mythical target to form a new ally and fight against Kirigan.
