When the Tesla were just producing the model S and X, they were a general automaker that really did not bother famous automakers. It was all going smoothly until the Model 3 hit its production stride.
The Model S and X vehicles, with cost more than $100,000, will always be the status symbols. With the Model 3, costing about $55,000, Tesla will have the potential to attract average car buyers.
Tesla, in told sold 69,925 Model 3, S and X cars during the third quarter in the States. On the other hand, Mercedes sold 66,542 vehicles. This report was a released by a journalist at Forbes, named Su. And according to the forecast, Tesla might surpass BMW which sold 71,679 vehicles, in the third quarter.
The success story of Tesla is because it has properly framed its product line. During the third quarter, Tesla says that it has successfully dispatched over 83,500 vehicles- more than 80 percent of the vehicles that the company sold in 2017.
