Who is Dewey Do?
Although Dewey Do is not in the public eye, he is frequently featured on his partner’s social media accounts. Despite this, Dewey can maintain a low profile in both his work and personal life.
While Bobby Berk’s focus is on interior design, his husband, also known as Dr. Dutran Do, works in a completely different field. Dewey Do is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is currently practicing in New York.
Relationship Timeline
According to an Instagram post by Berk in 2019, the couple apparently began their relationship in 2004. He wrote,
“15 years of love, support, and fun with my favorite person.”
In a Facebook post in July 2018, Berk disclosed to his fans the length of his marriage to Do.
“Six years ago, my husband and I said ‘I do’ and were actually married by a very close friend of ours who was ordained. We got married as soon as it was legal to get married and it was important to us to show the world our pride through our expression of love.”
The pair resided in New York City until their relocation to Los Angeles in 2018, shortly before Berk tried out for and secured a spot on Queer Eye.
In the following year, Berk discussed the potential of starting a family with his partner. He humorously mentioned that their current residence was not suitable for children and they may need to find a new home in the future.
When they are away from home, they are always on the move. Together, the couple has visited various places such as Costa Rica, Cambodia, Vietnam, Venice, and Maui.
While Bobby Berk is known for living publicly and sharing on social media and Queer Eye, Dewey Do takes a different approach. He does not appear to have an Instagram profile, and if he does, it is likely heavily restricted. Given his profession, it is likely beneficial for him to maintain a high level of privacy.
