Martha Stewart has said that she wouldn’t mind going on a date with Pete Davidson, who is thought to be one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors.
The 81-year-old lifestyle expert was on the episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that aired on Tuesday. During her appearance, she took part in a segment called “Red Flag, Yellow Flag, Green Flag.” In it, she told potential suitors how she felt about them based on traffic lights.
Barrymore says that the color green means “go,” red means “no,” and yellow means “on the fence.”
Stewart liked a guy who “has as many tattoos as Pete Davidson,” so Barrymore asked her if she would be interested in dating Davidson, who is 28.
Stewart waved the green flag and said this about the former Saturday Night Live star: “I mean, he’s dated so many women.” She was talking about the fact that he had dated different women in the past, such as Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber, and others.
Stewart added: ‘I’m not saying that’s bad, I think that’s good – and he’s sort of cute.’
She remembered the time in 2015 when they both stood on the same stage at the Comedy Central roast of Justin Bieber.
‘I know him,’ Stewart said. ‘He was on the Bieber roast with me, do you remember? He was this little twerp. He was even twerpier than Bieber! Whose also very cute by the way.’
Barrymore said, “Everyone talks about Pete Davidson in such a good way, so he must be a good guy.”
Stewart said, ‘Oh he is a good guy … very good guy and he knows how to get in and get out.’
Barrymore said, ‘He’s open to … age is not a thing for him, just saying.’
Stewart told that Davidson is “like the son I never had.” She said this in response to a meme that said the two of them might date after Davidson broke up with Kardashian in August. The fact that Davidson had been dating Kardashian was at the center of the meme.
‘He is a charming boy who is finding his way. I’ve invited him to come on my podcast and I look forward to hearing what he has to say.’
Even though they broke up in August, Davidson and Kardashian are said to have “stayed in touch.”
After their nine-month relationship ended, a source told Entertainment Tonight on Monday that the two “still talk to each other.”
‘It wasn’t a bad fallout or breakup, so things are good between them,’ the source said of the reality star, 42, and comic/actor, who dated from October 2021 until August of 2022.
