Its just been two weeks since LeBron James joined the Lakers and he has started winning hearts. Lonzo Ball and James just pulled off a stunning performance against the Charlotte Hornets when they recorded a triple-double each and clinched a victory by 128-100 in a completely one-sided match.
The last team two players of Lakers achieved the same feat was way back in 1982 when Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson recorded the triple-double. The last time it happened in NBA was in 2007 by Vince Carter and Jason Kidd.
LeBron James finished with a total of 12 rebounds, 11 assists and scored a total of 24 points. He checked out with just 35 seconds to go to the third quarter. The points table stood at 97-67 in favor of the lakers.
But Lonzo remained till the end as he achieved his triple-double in the fourth quarter. However, Ball remained instrumental with his fellow mate Kemba Walker who achieved an abysmal figure of 2 for 14.
