Lisa Marie Presley looked shaky and unsteady at the 2023 Golden Globes, which was just two days before she had a heart attack. The 54-year-old woman died on Friday, Jan. 13, after the terrible event.
It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known,
her mother Priscilla Presley said in a statement.
Since her death, though, people on social media have said that Lisa Marie Presley looked weak at the Golden Globes, especially during an interview with Extra TV on the red carpet on Tuesday. During the talk with host Billy Bush, she was seen leaning on her friend, talent manager Jerry Schilling, who is 80 years old. She leans on Schilling’s arm at one point and said,
I’m gonna grab your arm,
before talking about the weather in California and how Austin Butler played her late father in the movie “Elvis.”
Lisa Marie Presley talked about the part Butler played in the film and said,
It’s kind of done in sort of a funny, joking way, the way [Elvis] spoke, but Austin actually got it and did it perfectly without making it comical,
as per a source.
In a TikTok video, Lisa Marie Presley walked with Butler at the ceremony and looked like she needed help because she was stumbling and shuffling.

Internet users were also shocked by Lisa Marie’s sudden death. They pointed out that she looked sick the whole time she was at the ceremony. One person on Twitter wrote,
