Lethal Weapon Season 3 is currently airing on FOX in the US and Lethal Weapon Season 4 is under a lot of speculation. The season finale will air next week on 26th February 2019. Fans in the UK are hoping for the show to be aired in their country at some point this year.
They are also hoping for a renewal of the show which will see it come back for a fourth season.
Will there be Lethal Weapon Season 4?
FOX is yet to renew Lethal Weapon Season 4. However, it is very unlikely that a decision can be made before the third season has been wrapped up. A new season would also depend on the rating of the show which FOX has still not released to the public.
According to a TV insider, the series was down 32% in their key 18-49 demographic. The show was also allegedly down 21% in total viewers when compared to that of the season two premiere.
What can happen in Lethal Weapon Season 4?
As the third season is yet to draw to a close, it is hard to tell what will happen in season four. However, it is highly likely that Lethal Weapon Season 4 will continue to follow the new character Wesley Cole CIA operative.
To recap, the character of Martin Riggs was killed off in the Lethal Weapon Season 2 and Scott was brought in as a replacement. We do hope that Damien Wayans does return as Roger Murtaugh after FOX did agree to work around his schedule in order to cater to his diabetes last year.
