Oklahoma’s player Jaylin Williams won the Call of Duty event organized in the summer league. It was one of the many leisure events organized for NBA players. The majority of the participants were young players. Each participant had to collect as many kills as they could within the 2-minute time. The winning amount was $10,000. Jaylin ended up winning the event as he made 59 kills within 2 minutes, which was the highest of all. Mavericks player Dereck Lively was placed second to Jaylin.

Oklahoma City Thunder must be expecting Jaylin Williams to perform well in the 2023-24 season, but sadly, an injury update came regarding him. He is going to miss the initial games due to a hamstring strain. He suffered the injury while practicing. He is believed to recover in 1-2 weeks, which must be bad news for OKC. Looking at his previous season fans were quite eager to see him play and it was expected that he would have a very good season this time but sadly the injury interrupted.
