Jake Weary is an actor from the United States. He gained recognition for his role as Deran Cody in the TNT drama series Animal Kingdom, which aired from 2016 to 2022.
Additionally, he is well-known for portraying Luke Snyder in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns from 2005, as well as Vince Keeler in NBC’s action-drama series Chicago Fire in 2014. He has also appeared in horror films such as It Follows (2014) and It Chapter Two (2019).

Jacob Weary, popularly known as Jake Weary, was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on February 14, 1990. He was born to Kim Zimmer, an actress who has received a Daytime Emmy Award, and Allen Cudney “A.C.” Weary, who is both an actor and a director.

Jake Weary’s early acting credits included a guest role on the long-standing CBS soap opera Guiding Light in 2002, in which his mother, actress Kim Zimmer, played Reva Shayne.
After making guest appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Listen Up, he was cast as Luke Snyder on another of CBS’s enduring soap operas, As the World Turns.
He remained with the show until December 2005, when actor Van Hansis assumed the role after Weary left to prioritize his studies.
After making his film debut as a hall monitor in the 2008 film Assassination of a High School President, Weary has since taken on the role of Sal in Kaare Anderson’s 2010 film Altitude and Hugh in the 2015 horror-thriller It Follows.
Jake Weary also starred as Deran Cody in the TNT crime drama Animal Kingdom, which is based on the 2010 Australian film of the same name.
