A person close to Jada Pinkett Smith said that the stand-up comedian was obsessed with her after he criticized her and Will Smith in his Netflix live-streamed comedy special, “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage.”
Last week, in response to Will’s famous Oscar slap, Chris Rock said a few things about the couple.
Rock didn’t hide how he felt, and he said bad things about both Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith.
You know what people say, they say, “words hurt…” anybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face,
he said.
On March 28, 2022, the day before the 94th Academy Awards, Will Smith gave the world a slap that everyone will remember. At first, when host Chris Rock made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, everyone laughed, including Will Smith himself. But a few minutes later, the actor got up from his seat and went on stage, where he hit Chris and said,
keep my wife’s name outta your ****ing mouth.
After getting hit, the 54-year-old actor got a lot of bad press and criticism. Most people, including his fellow actors and coworkers, criticized him for reacting so violently.
You all know what happened to me, getting smacked by Suge Smith,
said Rock.
It still hurts. I got ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ears. But I’m not a victim, baby. You’ll never see me on Oprah or Gayle crying … I took that hit like Pacquiao.
A lot of people like, ‘How come you didn’t do nothing back that night?’
he added.
Cause I got parents. Cause I was raised. You know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people.
The actor from Grown Ups said,
Will Smith practices selective outrage. Everybody know what the f–k happened. Everybody that really knows I had nothing to do with that s–t. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f–king her son’s friend.
He also said that he doesn’t usually talk about things like that, but the couple did so on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk.

None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. Why the f–k would you do that s–t? She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?
Chris also said that after Jada Pinkett Smith told him about her relationship with August Alsina, he tried to get in touch with Smith to comfort him, but Smith never answered his calls.
Everybody in the world called him a bitch. I tried to call the mother–ker and give him my condolences he didn’t pick up for me,
he said.
Everybody called that man a bitch. They called his wife a predator. And who’s he hit? Me, a n—- he knows he can beat. That is some bitch-a– s–t.
After he said that, someone close to the actress from The Matrix said that Rock has been obsessed with Jada Pinkett Smith for decades and that she has nothing to do with the drama.
Jada has had no part in all of this other than being heckled. Chris is obsessed with her and that’s been going on for almost 30 years,
the insider claimed.
Look where he chose to film his Netflix special. Her hometown [of Baltimore]. Obsessed.
The stand-up comedian also said that he didn’t make fun of Jada at the Oscars last year. He then brought up the 2016 Oscars, when Jada skipped the show because of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy and asked Rock not to perform.
Years ago, his wife said I should quit the Oscars. I shouldn’t host ’cause her man didn’t get nominated for Concussion. And then he gives me a f***ing concussion,
he said.
I did some jokes about her. Who gives a f—? That’s how it is: She starts it, I finish it. That’s what the f— happened. Nobody’s pickin’ on this bitch. She started this s—. Nobody was pickin’ on her.
A source also said that Jada was surprised by how many times Chris called her “bi***” during the 90-minute special.
