Who is Holden Fletcher Fraser?
Holden Fletcher Fraser was born on August 16, 2004, in the United States. He is the son of Brendan Fraser, a renowned American movie actor, and Afton Smith, a former actress. He has two brothers – Griffin Arthur Fraser, born in 2002, and Leland Francis Fraser, born in 2006.
Holden’s older brother was born unhealthy. He was diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Condition, and it is clear that he requires additional love and attention – which he undoubtedly gets.
Holden Fletcher Fraser gained media attention because of his father, Brendan Fraser, who is a Canadian-American actor renowned for his leading roles in comedies, dramas, and blockbuster films. Brendan Fraser first gained attention from his role as Rick O’Connell in The Mummy trilogy.
Education
Though parts of his early life have been reported in the media, Holden’s educational background remains a mystery.
While information about his schooling hasn’t been revealed, he is currently enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. It seems like, Holden may be following in his father’s footsteps and entering the Hollywood industry soon.
In February 2023, Brendan Fraser revealed in an interview that he had visited his son’s college to discuss his movie The Whale and described the kids as intelligent.
“I’m really happy that I was able to go into my 18-year-old’s film studies class just before it came out and give a sort of Q & A,” he said.
“They’d all gone out to see ‘The Whale,’ and they’re whipsmart kids. They understand the craft of filmmaking in a way that’s so impressive.”
His father is also a highly educated person and the actor has studied at Upper Canada College and a private boarding school in Toronto.

Based on his Instagram page, Holden is a model who is represented by Marilyn Agency NY. It appears that Holden is following in his father’s footsteps by entering the entertainment industry.
At the New York premiere of The Whale in November 2022, he accompanied his father and his younger brother Leland. The three of them took some photos together on the red carpet.
Parents
Holden Fletcher Fraser’s parents first encountered each other at Winona Ryder’s house during the 4th of July celebration in 1993.
Winona had organized a barbecue for them, and following their meeting they both landed parts in George of the Jungle in 1998. Brendan played the lead role, George, and Afton was Ursula’s buddy.
On the 27th of September 1998, the two lovebirds tied the knot. Together they had three children, including Holden Fletcher Fraser.
After close to a decade as a married couple, they declared they would be separating, but still remain friends and take care of their children together.
Even though Brendan Fraser and Afton Smith had been said to be getting along well despite their divorce, court proceedings suggested something different.
As part of the settlement, Fraser had to pay Afton Smith $50,000 in alimony for the next ten years or until she remarried. Additionally, he was obligated to pay $25,000 per year in child support.
In 2011, Fraser returned to court to challenge the alimony, claiming he no longer had enough money to pay the required amount.
Afton Smith, however, alleged that he had concealed the amount of the contracts he received for the films Extraordinary Measures and Furry Vengeance, which totaled $9 million.
Ultimately, the court dismissed both Fraser’s plea to decrease the alimony and Afton’s claim of deception. Despite their legal dispute, both Afton Smith and Brendan Fraser are devoted to their sons.
