GoPro Max releases Firmware update to add handy shooting modes

GoPro Max has been winning hearts since it was unveiled last year along with GoPro Hero 8. It is an accessible 360 degrees camera for masses. And now the new update on GoPro Max has made the fans go crazy.

The GoPro Max was basically a two-in-one camera for shooting beautiful spherical content. Also, it retained the functionality of Hero 8. Also, it shot the videos in 5.6K resolution at 30 fps. The GoPro also had innovative features like HyperSmooth stabilization, horizon leveling, and reframing. And now the new Firmware update makes the camera more versatile.

What new features are added?

GoPro Max New Update features: Slow motion

The biggest new feature in this update is the new slow-motion footage in 360 degrees. One can now record videos in 3K resolution at 60fps. This allows the users to shoot it in slo-mo and also recompose the shot. And this was one of the most requested features that have now been added.

The new features also let the users shoot time-lapse videos and photos. The users can also take a single frame out of a photo which helps in handsfree shooting. Horizon leveling was one of the flagship features. The users can also use this feature in TimeWarp photos and videos. With this feature, users can also ensure that the resultant image is straight irrespective of the way it is mounted.
