The Version 4.2 update isn’t just about Furina. It also brings the second major map expansion to Genshin Impact’s newest region. This addition is all set to push Fontaine’s boundaries eastward, past the Belleau Region’s mountains.

For players keen on resource farming, this means one thing: more local specialties, especially those needed to level Furina.
Leak Unveils Special Items for Furina
The Genshin Impact community is abuzz with a recent leak, courtesy of Fy1995 Leaks and Tao, showcasing the exact locations where Furina’s local specialty items can be harvested.
“The image suggests that Furina’s local specialty flower will mostly grow in the mountains surrounding the Opera Epiclese, with 51 flowers available before starting any quests.”
Completing the “Weeping Willow of the Lake” quest will add an extra bonus of 20 more flowers to your in-game collection. And for those who’ve been diligently farming in Fontaine, you’re in for a treat: a limited shop will let players exchange Tidalgas for up to 15 of these new flowers.
Furina’s Gameplay Mechanics: A League of Their Own
Furina’s gameplay seems to be as intriguing as her character. Leaks indicate that she’ll come with a unique HP-draining mechanic that saps allies’ HP to strengthen her own attacks.
“Furina’s Elemental Skill in Genshin Impact also spawns Hydro mimics to aid her in battle, attacking and applying Hydro damage to enemies.”
