Out of the remaining 3 Grands Prix this year, Red bull know Mexico is their best chance to add their win tally before the end of this year. However this prediction is getting stronger at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez with Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen ahead of Renaults’s carlos Sainz.
The high force design of Red Bull’s RB14 has used the weather conditions at the Mexico track effectively which the Renault’s deficit horsepower engines couldnt make use of. Both Ricciardio and Verstappen has used this effectively to mark their identity.
The biggest shock was the Renault’s Sainz and Nico Hulkenberg finished in position 3 & 4. The team expected a decent result but finishing as 2nd quickest is something beyond their expectations.
Mercedes and Ferraris lined up behind Red Bulls and Renaults. Lewis Hamilton came ahead of his team mate Valtteri Bottas and he needs to outscore Sebastian Vettel on weekend to become the world champion for the record 5th time. This has created anxiousness in the Mercedes pit wall but Hamilton has been complaining about the drops in power during the runs.

It was Red Bull leading in the first running at Mexico. But most of the drivers complained about their tyre grip on the green Mexico track.
