Former England and Chelsea captain announced his retirement

Terry turned 37 but was without a club, since leaving the championship side of Aston Villa.

Most interestingly he made his announcement of his retirement through his Instagram account. Stating that after spending incredible 23 years of his career in Football he had decided that it is the right time for him to say goodbye to soccer.

After spending two decades in the London club and winning 78 England caps he had taken this decision.

In his time while playing for Stanford Bridge he has won 5 Premier League titles 5 FA cups and a champions league titles which had made him the most decorated player in the football arena.

This brilliant center back has also won five league cups and a Europa League during his 700 appearances in Chelsea.

After that as per the latest report he had left for Villa Park in Moscow when his one year contract got expired and he had also turned down the move to Spartak Moscow for the last month. Despite having a medical saying that it was not so right to take for his family.

Terry spent 2017-18 season at Aston Villa and his last game as a professional was in Aston Villa which was ended as of 1-0 playoff in the final championship which had resulted to defeat to Fulham in May.

He was integral to the Blues claiming both the FA cup titles in 2009-2010 and Premier League title. He has made 50 appearances for Chelsea and Chelsea became the seventh club to do that in this premier league.

Terry spent 2017-18 season at Aston Villa and his last game as a professional was in Aston Villa which ended as of 1-0 playoff in the final championship which had resulted to defeat to Fulham in May.

In the golden career path, Terry has scored 35 goals in the league games and claimed for the premier league for 2014-15. He had joined the premier league with a one year deal and played 36 times scoring once in his final season to the Birmingham club
