The thunderous season for the Raiders got even worse when Marshawn Lynch was injured.
The bye week is considered to be a rest time for a team, but in the case of Oakland, it was not the same. The Oakland might be missing one of their best players during the upcoming days of the year.
Marshawn Lynch, one of the finest player in the Raiders, have to undergo an MRI scan. This is done to diagnose the injury that happened in his groin area. According to IAN Rapoport from NFL Network, this injury could even send him to IR. If that is the exact situation, then Lynch would return only after 14 weeks. This would make Raiders team bear the loss and continue their game as such.
With more than 90 attempts, Lynch has already racked up 376 yards, which means, on an average 4.2 yards per carry in this season for the Raiders.
