Woke teenagers who recently watched ‘Dude, Where’s My Car?’ for the first time expressed their disgust with the film.
This 2000 film starred Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott as best buddies who wake up after a long night of partying and can’t find their car.
The film became a cult classic within a specific age group and was a box office triumph, has been dubbed “not remotely funny” and “pretty racist” by some modern-day audiences.
A Vice journalist recently asked a group of teenagers to view vintage teen films like this one to see how they reacted.
The outcome was bad, with the majority of the students stating that the film was sexist and transphobic and that they could not fathom it being filmed today.
However, another person found it watchable but not without its flaws.
