Drew Baldridge was born on July 29, 1991, in Patoka, Illinois. As a teenager, he began showcasing his talent in local competitions and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 18 to pursue a career in country music.
Music Career
Between 2014 and 2015, Baldridge released two extended plays digitally. Subsequently, he launched the single ‘Dance with Ya’, which was officially promoted to radio and marked his first entry on the Country Airplay chart.
By the end of the year, he released a full studio album titled ‘Dirt on Us’. To promote this album, Drew Baldridge toured alongside Lee Brice and Cole Swindell.
In late 2017, Baldridge announced the release of a new single, ‘Guns & Roses’, which is expected to serve as the lead single for his forthcoming second studio album.
Following the closure of Cold River, his record label, in 2019, he launched his own label, Lyric Ridge, in 2020. The first release from Lyric Ridge was ‘She’s Somebody’s Daughter’, a song he had previously recorded with Cold River.
The track became a viral sensation between 2023 and 2024, leading to Baldridge’s first top-40 hit on the Billboard country charts.
In 2024, Drew Baldridge signed a contract with BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek imprint and released ‘Tough People’, his first single under this new label.
Personal Life
Singer-songwriter Drew Baldridge and Katherine Kraus exchanged vows at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in May 2021. The ceremony was officiated by Baldridge’s cousin, Pastor Christopher Tanner, and the couple composed their own vows.
Baldridge and Kraus celebrated the arrival of their son, Lyric Lee Baldridge, in December 2022. Lyric was born in Nashville and is their first offspring together.
